Project: UK Integration for the "AskNHS" AI Triage Application
The Challenge
A pioneering AI-driven, avatar-based triage application needed to integrate deeply into the complex UK primary care ecosystem to be successful. To provide real value, the app had to securely connect with a variety of GP clinical systems (EMIS, TPP), authenticate users via the national NHS Login standard, and deliver actionable intelligence back to its NHS partners.
A Founder-Led Solution
Our founder, Jason Ratcliffe, served as the UK Integration Lead, architecting the critical infrastructure and partnerships required for the national rollout. He delivered:

Core NHS Systems Integration: Jason designed and built the integration platform connecting the AskNHS application with essential primary care systems (EMIS, TPP, Docman) via the official NHS IM1 and partner programmes.

Secure National Authentication: He led the successful adoption of the NHS Login scheme, enabling patients to securely and seamlessly access the application with their national credentials.

Actionable Business Intelligence: He developed a suite of real-time clinical and business intelligence dashboards. Critically, this included pioneering new methods for standardising and reporting on the semi-structured, conversational data from the chatbot interactions.
The Outcome
This foundational integration work was a key driver in the successful UK rollout of the AskNHS application, helping it scale to over 460,000 users. The deep integration and novel BI capabilities transformed the app from a standalone tool into a core component of the digital primary care pathway, improving patient access and providing invaluable system-level data.
